“Be the One”

.

Many things in this world have their own time. When we rush it too much, the disadvantages will be greater than the advantages. But if we do things at the right course and the right timing, not too fast nor too slow until losing the consistency, work when it's time to work, and rest when it's time to rest, the outcome will be more advantageous. . But who would know the balance points in every matter? Balance and Middle Path are the wisdom the Buddha had discovered through the hardships for over four aeons. Therefore, for us who are merely the Buddha’s followers, to know all the life balance points without making mistakes, we probably are the lucky people. But when those who made mistakes tell us about their misstep, it serves as a cautionary example for those who are finding the balance points to realize how to lead their lives on the Middle Path, which doesn’t mean to do things half way. But it means balancing their lives, balancing their physical and mental energy and doing things at the right moment and time. . The sayings “Rhythm of Life” or “Life Balance” are not just fancy words, but they are essential in life. When our life is out of balance, problems will slowly build up until they manifest themselves like a fierce monsoon that once strikes, it will make a wreck of our life. . As we are Buddhists, ‘duty’ is the word that will be a compass guiding us to know how we should live a balanced life, fitting for the social status we hold. For those who only use the word "love" without doing their duty, their love is only the sentiment from kilesa which has no value, but just the wind that is emitted into words. . Parents who love their children must take care of them and guide them the way. Children who love their parents must know how to protect their parents. The head of the family must look after the family members and make them happy. Love comes together with duty. All the individuals with duty must take good care of their health. Or else, there shall be no physical station for them to do the duty which begins with love as a starting point for success. My life has turned its course to be Vipassana Master by having love as the starting point. . .. We are the Dhamma troop that is stemmed from love. . From the love and respect to the Buddha and the love and respect to masters and teachers… Love leads to duty. ... How long Buddhism will last depends upon the Buddhist assembly. . May you be the Buddhists who protect Buddhism by doing your duty that is originated from love. It is to fulfill your life with virtue and morality so as to be worthy of being born a human being, the only state in which one can be liberated from the cycle of rebirth...Be that person. . We are already in that one... So be the One. . Master Acharavadee Wongsakon Source: Selected from Words of Master “Be the One” October 5, 2019

Quote on Picture ‘Duty’, this word alone will be a compass guiding us to know how we should live a balanced life, fitting for the social status we hold.
