Who I am and what am I doing

In the Noble Eightfold Path, Sam-ma-va-ya-ma is the perseverance—the effort to abstain from sins and also to cultivate good deeds. To accumulate good deeds in the level of enlightenment, we must be determined and not to give up when facing obstacles. Those who have uncertain minds are like a pole put in the soft mud. When being touched, it is just blown away. Along the path to Nirvana, we all must be tested. Without perseverance and firm mind, we are merely a better one floating upon the water for a short moment before sinking down again because we cannot stand against resistance and obstacles. . In the worldly path where we have to use Kiles to fight against Kiles, to aware that “Who I am and what am I doing” regularly, we will not be trapped by the illusionary pleasures. We will be the controller of the game, not the one who was controlled like before.
